    When I went to make this smoothie, I realized that the avocado I had left had gone bad, so I used banana instead. It turned out really nicely.

    It wasn't quite as thick and creamy as most of the smoothies that I've made, but the banana added a really nice flavor.

    Ingredients

    Units Scale
    • 1 cup coconut water
    • 2 cups (lightly packed) kale, roughly chopped
    • ½ kiwi, peeled and roughly chopped
    • ½ banana
    • 1 cup frozen wild blueberries
    • 1 tablespoon flax seeds
    • 1 tablespoon raw blue agave
    • small handful fresh parsley (about 1 tablespoon)

    Instructions

    1. Place ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
