I whipped up another batch of green smoothies at lunchtime today. I really love the creaminess that the avocado adds. I’m anxious for spring to really arrive so I can get a better variety of fresh, local goodies to incorporate into my smoothies!
I whipped up another batch of green smoothies at lunchtime today. I really love the creaminess that the avocado adds.
1 cup ice
2 cups kale, loosely packed
1/2 green apple, cored and roughly chopped
1/4 cup seedless cucumber, roughly chopped
1 tablespoon flax seeds
1 tablespoon raw blue agave
Put ice in a measuring cup. Pour in water until it reaches the 1 cup line.
Pour into blender, along with the rest of the ingredients. Blend until smooth. Enjoy!
