These colorful treats are rich, chocolatey, indulgent and bursting with peanut butter flavor!
This month's Supper Club theme was peanut butter. I called dessert and set off to find something easy and delicious to serve up.
Enter these beauties from Sally's Baking Addiction.
They taste like mini M&M’S® stuffed Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
In truffle form.
How can you go wrong?!
I loved her suggestion to leave some partially dipped like buckeyes, and cover some and top them with roughly chopped M&M’S®.
How could this tray of treats not make you smile?
These were a big hit at peanut butter night. They were rich and delicious and really easy to put together. You need to make sure you plan ahead so they have time to chill before dipping, and again after.
Sally advises against using chocolate chips for the coating, but I had good results using Ghirardelli 60% Cacao Baking Chips (which I buy in bulk, because they're my favorite for baking!). I've never used a dipping tool, but she recommends this set, which is one I've had been eyeing on Amazon. For now, 2 regular ol' forks worked just fine.
These truffles are definitely something I'll be making again - they're so colorful and fun - perfect for parties!

Truffle-icious! Did the little one have any of these? I'm thinking he would have a sugar buzz for days! 😉
