We had some friends over for dinner, and I was told that they would provide dinner as long as I made some cocktails. Woohoo!
First on the list was this one, the Bourbon Rouge. It's a great way to enjoy bourbon's sweeter side!

Ingredients

- 1 ounce bourbon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla bean simple syrup
- 1 ounce Chambord
- Club soda
- Ice
- Lemon peel
Instructions
- Pour bourbon, syrup, and Chambord in a cocktail shaker full of ice. Shake vigorously and pour into ice-filled lowball glass.
- Top with soda and stir. Garnish with lemon twist.
