Cracked Sugar Cookies

I wanted to make some cookies for Dino’s co-workers, but I didn’t want to go to the grocery store. I figured a new sugar cookie recipe would be nice. This one was really difficult to work with – the dough crumbled and fell apart like crazy. I don’t think I got anywhere near 4 dozen, either. They tasted good, but were definitely too frustrating for me to ever want to make them again.

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Lightly grease 2 cookie sheets.
Cream together sugar and butter. Beat in egg yolks and vanilla.
