Cole Slaw

I made this cole slaw to go with my mom’s Sloppy Joes. This one is her recipe, too. It’s great because it’s sweet with just the right amount of tang from the cider vinegar. This time around, I used the slicing disc attachment for my food processor to get long strands of cabbage instead of shredding it into tiny chunks like I used to. It worked out really nice. It’s a creamy, delicious cole slaw.

Cole Slaw
Adapted from Mom

1 head green cabbage
apple cider vinegar
sugar
Miracle Whip light
milk

1. Core cabbage and shred in food processor.

2. Put in large bowl and add a few tablespoons of Miracle Whip. Splash with vinegar, sprinkle with sugar, and thin with milk. Adjust seasonings to taste.

Thanks for reminding me about Cole Slaw! I’m so in the mood for that right now!!! I’m not a miracle whipper, myself… but with a simple sub, this one looks like a great recipe! 🙂 Thanks!
