This is one of the cocktails that we served at the launch party for The Domestic Mixologist. This is a spicy little shot that will really wake you up and get you ready to partayyyy!
The Domestic Mixologist
Rock out with your cocktail out! This recipe makes three double shots (pictured here) or six regular shots… enough to drink along with that song that goes, “shots-shots-shots-shots-shots-shots.”
2 ounces chile rum
1 ounce passion fruit juice
1 ounce freshly squeezed orange juice
1 ounce cranberry juice
1 ounce pineapple juice
1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
In a cocktail shaker partially filled with ice, add the liquids (chile rum through lime juice). Cover and shake well to blend.
For the salted rims, slide the cut side of a lime wedge around the edge of each shot glass. Pour a thin layer of kosher salt on a small saucer. Invert the glass and spin the rim around in the salt to adhere.
Serves three or six.
