The Beauty of Dragon Fruit

Isn’t Dragon Fruit the prettiest fruit ever? I’ve been wanting to try it for years now, and I finally got my hands on one to try it out. I used this method for cutting it up and serving it, and it was stunningly beautiful! I had no idea what to expect when it came to the flavor of the fruit. The texture reminded me of a kiwi. The flavor was so strange – some bites were wonderfully sweet and others were surprisingly tart. I thought maybe I didn’t pick a fully ripe fruit, but from what I’ve seen online, that’s the way they are. This would be a lovely addition to a fruit salad! I’m glad I tried it finally. It’s such a fun cactus!
