I made a quick trip to the Farmers Market after yoga today, and I picked up lots of goodies from Mead Orchards – 2 big bunches of kale, a head of yellow cauliflower, a butternut squash, an acorn squash, 2 delicata squash and a pint of cherry tomatoes. I got a lot of goodies at the Ossining Farmers Market this weekend. I got some almond butter and Honduran dark roast coffee from Tierra Farm, a gorgeous baguette from Bread Alone, 3 pounds of ground beef and a pack of chorizo from The Pastures Farm, some onions, shallots, bok choy, cilantro and purple scallions. Grass-Fed Cheeseburgers with Sea Salt

We had some friends over for dinner, and we figured it was a great time to fire up the grill! I picked up some beautiful grass-fed ground beef from the Farmers’ Market on Saturday, and we made the tastiest burgers ever! We kept it super simple – forming quarter-pound burgers and seasoning them simply with just a sprinkle of sea salt on top right before they hit the grill. Continue Reading →
