Description

A simple yet rich, fragrant and comforting dish that's great served over grits or rice.

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and shallots and sauté until soft.
  2. Add beef, breaking it up with your spoon or spatula as it cooks. Season with salt and pepper and continue to cook, stirring occasionally until the beef is browned all over.
  3. Reduce heat to medium. Add rosemary, Worcestershire, Dijon and tomato paste and stir to combine. Add frozen peas and water and cook, stirring occasionally, until the peas are heated through and the sauce reduces to your liking.
  4. Serve over grits or rice and garnish with parsley, if desired.
