Pho with Buffalo

A bowl of pho with fresh herbs and lime.

Back when I made Pho, I saved a bit of the stock that was left and froze it. I wasn’t feeling well today, so I picked up a few things to make a bowl for myself after work. I got a small buffalo sirloin steak to slice thinly in the bowl, and added some noodles, basil, cilantro, lime juice, hoisin and soy sauce. It was unbelievably tasty! I’m so glad we had some of this left. We’re definitely going to make another batch of it in a few weeks so we can have some on hand again. Yum!
