I was looking forward to enjoying this smoothie, but one of my pitted dates must have had a big pit in it, because as I started drinking the smoothie, I kept getting big chunks of rock hard pit. Ugh! I was careful while I was drinking it but ended up giving up and dumping it. So sad! It tasted good, but I just couldn’t get past the pits. Ah well, I’ve been on a pretty good kick with smoothies lately, so it was bound to happen eventually.
Peach, Avocado, Kale and Date Green Smoothie
1 cup water
1 cup frozen, sliced peaches (no sugar added)
2 cups kale, loosely packed
5 dried, pitted dates (no sugar added)
1 tablespoon flax seeds
Place ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
