Maple Cookies

There are certain things that we don’t skimp on in my house – toilet paper (2-ply is a must!), beautiful chunks of Parmesan cheese, real vanilla extract, and real maple syrup. I’ve been on a roll with baking goodies lately (as evidenced by these, these, this, these and these, so I decided to bake up some thank you gifts. I wanted to make a recipe that we really enjoy, and I also wanted to make something that would make quite a few cookies without being too complicated. Someone posted a comment over on my post about Maple Cookies, and that reminded me – these cookies are AWESOME! They’re moist and delicious, and well worth the splurge on good maple syrup.

I refuse to let any imitation maple into the house! These sound amazing!

I unfortunately have to keep some of the “junk” on hand for when my dad visits…not only does he love it, but he uses about a gallon of it on his pancakes. Yuck!

This was a repeat recipe – there’s a link within my notes under the photo. You can find the (superbly delicious!) recipe here: https://bigflavorstinykitchen.com/2010/09/maple-cookies-2.html Enjoy!
