Dino is great at making breakfast food. He made home fries again, but this time used a mix of white and red potatoes. He also made eggs and bacon. It was all awesome!

Cast iron skillet with crispy potatoes inside.

    Crispy Home Fries

*Soak two medium-to-large potatoes for 5-10 minutes
*Clean skins or remove them, depending on your preference
    *Cube potatoes
*Butter a heated cast iron skillet and add potatoes
    *Dice 1 large sweet onion
*Stir potatoes until they begin to brown
    *Add onion
    *Add more butter
*Season with paprika, salt and pepper (or Sylvia's Salt) to taste
*Stir occasionally until onions are caramelized

Moist Home Fries (using some of the above directions)

    *Soak and cube potatoes
    *Boil potatoes for 15 minutes
*Add the diced onion to the heated and buttered skillet
*When onions begin to caramelize, rinse the boiled potatoes and add them
*Season with paprika, salt and pepper (or Sylvia's Salt) to taste
    *Stir until well mixed

    MacGourmet Rating: 5 Stars
