Farmers’ Market season is finally here, and I love having fun new produce to try out in salads. I got some mizuna – a green that was totally new to me – and radishes from one of the stands, and made a nice salad with them. I added some avocado, orange and yellow tomatoes, red onion, fleur de sal, freshly ground black pepper, aged balsamic and an awesome olive oil. It’s really flavorful, and it’s great to make on a weeknight if you do it in a pressure cooker. I only simmered it for 20-25 minutes and it tasted like it was cooking all day! Yum! It was refreshing and tasty! Continue Reading →

I’ve been sick with bronchitis, so I really wanted to make some soup. I didn’t have a lot in the house, so this is what I threw together. It turned out pretty good! My immersion blender is shot, so it wasn’t as smooth as I would have liked it to … Continue Reading →
