This month’s Supper Club theme was Marinated/Soaked. It was another great meal, and this dessert really made the perfect finish. I love tiramisu, so I was glad to find a recipe that had so many great reviews. It’s a pretty easy dessert to make, and I made it the night … Continue Reading →

I have seen this recipe floating around for years now, but when a friend brought some in to work for me before Christmas, I decided that I needed to make these. They’re possibly the easiest cookie recipe I’ve ever made, but they’re kind of tricky to cut because they’re so … Continue Reading →

One of my friends is in the medical field, and she did me a huge favor by getting me an ankle stabilizer and not letting me pay her for it. So I decided to bake something for her to let her know how much I appreciated it. I remember her talking about how much she loves cookie pies, so I decided to make the Toll House recipe into a pie. It made enough batter for 2 pies, so I was able to have one at home, too. Continue Reading →

I wanted to find a dairy free dessert to make for Dino’s birthday. He absolutely loves Nutella, so this one fit the bill. It was super easy to put together, and tasted like a chocolate hazelnut pudding. Continue Reading →

This is by far one of the best desserts I’ve ever made! The chocolate chips just melt in your mouth- assuming you’re impatient like me and you don’t let it fully cool off before diving in. I’ll definitely be making this many, many more times in the future! Continue Reading →

A recent post over on PatsyK’s blog reminded me that I’ve had this recipe for a while and needed to try it. Ironically, my mother-in-law had some bananas that were turning black, so I told her they’d be perfect for banana bread. She gave me the bananas, and I made … Continue Reading →

I was in the mood to make chocolate chip cookies. A friend suggested adding a teaspoon of cinnamon to a classic recipe. It adds a nice subtle flavor, and is a nice change from the “standard”. Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookies Nestle 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking … Continue Reading →
